05/10/2009 - GREG LEFT THE BAND AND GIAN BACK TO THE ROOTS.

The Italian metal band LISTERIA announced that cause different musical direction between the vocalist and the rest of the band, the new singer Greg that had replaced the original singer Vitto on the 2007 has left the band and as a result, are now searching for a new full time vocalist.

A message from the band reads as follows:

"LISTERIA is now looking for a new full time singer. We are looking for a versatile, creative individual with high motivation and a preferable capability of singing in different styles.

"The person we are looking for must know the English language and preferably to live in Italy.

"If you feel you might be the one, please write to info@listeriaband.com or send to us a free-form audio or video sample of yourself.

"We offer the new singer a possibility to record the new cd with the worldwide distribution and enjoy the full benefits of being in an international heavy metal band.

Also It’s a pleasure to announce that the band started with the original drummer Gian a new collaboration for the next live shows.

17/03/2009 - LISTERIA BACK ON STAGE AT THE MOTOROCK BIKERFEST ON MAY 16TH

After two years away from Italian and international stages, the Italian rockers Listeria will come back on stage at the prestigious Motorock Bikerfest, taking place in Cremona (IT) on the 16th of May 2009, together with Ross the Boss, former Manowar guitarist, and his band.
During the last two years the band experienced a big change in the line up and this show will be the first occasion to see the newcomers Greg on vocals and Mark (former Dark Horizon) on drums doing their best playing both old Listeria songs and the new tracks from the new upcoming album Dusty Roads, to be released worldwide in the following months.
The band also notifies that P.L. Boschi, guitarist co-founder of the band together with Ciano in 1988, left in the winter due to family problems; we all wish him the best for the future!
Looking forward to the release of Dusty Roads, a new internet site will soon be completed with all news, previews and further details about this new rock'n'roll experience.

After two years of silence and hard work Italian metal band Listeria is still alive and kickin' and it's proud to tell all its fans that the writing of the new amazign album is finally done!!!
During winter '08/'09 the band will start the recording sessions of the second release, follower of Full of Fire, published worldwide through Lion Music in 2005.
But we have other news for you out there.
Auditions for a new drummer are opened, he would join the band in the recording sessions and the following European tour owing to the leaving of the old member for personal matters.
